Being a small business owner or leading a non-profit organization is a challenging endeavor. The work is hard, the hours are long and the many hats, shifted dozens of times a day, is incredible. Whether an upstart or bedrock, the Association is here to offer a helping hand. 

 

The Association is dedicated to promoting and publicizing the business community of Putnam, CT – and is open to any business or organization in Putnam, CT or which services the community of Putnam, CT. This is accomplished through:

  • unified advertising and public relations

  • business presentation opportunities - including Monthly Member Meetings and WINY Radio

  • networking opportunities

  • promotional campaigns

  • association events - including FIRE & ICE Festival, First Fridays, Rubber Duck Race, Zombie Fashion Show and The Great Pumpkin Festival

  • representation on association websites www.putnambusiness.org and www.discoverputnam.com

  • access and representation across social media platforms

  • membership communications - including email blasts and materials/flyer distributions

I’m proud to say I’ve been a member of The Putnam Business Association since its inception more than 10 years ago.  As the 1st PBA President, it’s a pleasure to witness the growth and success of the organization every year.  The PBA and its members are the backbone of the Putnam community.  It’s a perfect example of a thriving business community working hand-in-hand with the town government, proving that success comes through mutual trust and cooperation.
